Very heartening to have so much support for the Catholic Women’s Leadership Foundation at the CWL Convention in Winnipeg. So many interested in applying for the Leadership Program 2019-2020. Applications will be available in September!

Adrienne Castellon holds a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Simon Fraser University. Over the past twenty-five years she has been a secondary teacher, elementary principal, education consultant and university instructor. Dr. Castellon teaches at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia where she is the Stream Director for the Master of Educational Leadership. She is involved in the K-12 system through various projects and professional development consulting.

The intention behind this blog is threefold:

  • to help me be a more reflective practitioner,
  • keep in contact with students and colleagues and
  • contribute to a wider Community of Practice in Educational Leadership.

CWLF Directors Neysa Finnie and Diana Wielgus attended the Institute of Corporate Directors conference in Vancouver where corporate directors and leaders from across Canada gathered to discuss business trends and challenges. Illuminating sessions included Empowering Transformation and Social Licence in Volatile Times.

Neysa is the Vice Chair of the Catholic Women’s Leadership Foundation and has served in that capacity since January 2015. On January 1, 2017 she was appointed Treasurer.
