Dr. Adrienne Castellon
Adrienne Castellon holds a Doctorate of Education from Simon Fraser University and a Master’s degree with a concentration in Special Education. Over the past twenty-four years she has been a secondary teacher, education consultant, elementary principal and university instructor in Canada and internationally. Dr. Castellon is the Director of the Master’s of Educational Leadership at Trinity Western University where she is passionate about equipping teachers with the skills to adapt to the education sector’s growing complexity and changing priorities, reigniting passion, increasing confidence and focusing on vocational call.
In the past few years she has given a number of public and professional lectures nationally and internationally on women in leadership, inquiry based learning, perspective-taking, ethics, reflective practice and servant leadership. She serves as a reviewer for the Academic Journal Simon Fraser University Education Review and is a member of several TWU committees including: Aboriginal Council Institute of Indigenous Issues and Perspectives, Refugee Response Group, Teaching and Learning Committee and Extension Academic Quality.
In her local community she has been an active board member of Langley Childhood Development Society. Adrienne is involved in a number of parish ministries including past president of CWL, Eucharistic Ministry, Adult Faith Formation and Religious education for children.
Dr. Castellon was elected a director of the Catholic Women’s Leadership Foundation effective January 1, 2017.
